Pico Zen is unique and special; each edition is different, filled with unforgettable memories. This was another one, with novelties, great artists, and enthusiastic participants surrounded by the infinite beauty of the island.

Over 5 days at the Santo António Campsite (Furna), the festival will offer unique experiences with yoga, music, dance, health, and relaxation, providing tools for a healthier and more harmonious life while enjoying the island's nature.

20:00 to 21:00 - Zen Dinner

Soups are a significant part of the dinner tradition. We'll adhere to this philosophy but enrich the plate with light, digestible meals for a restful night and peaceful sleep. Avoiding stimulants, we recommend not consuming any stimulating beverages and not going to bed with a full stomach. Your body will need rest, and proper nutrition will aid in that. We promise color and health on the plate, along with warm tea to aid sleep.

Artist: Isabel Mesquita DUO

The Azorean singer – with music open to the world - presents her first solo album, "Ilhéu," in a Duo format with guitarist Carlos Sousa (Kaki, from Ronda da Madrugada). With a background in the Lisbon World Music band Gapura or her more personal projects like IziBlues, Isabel Mesquita Quartet, and Nossa Bossa, her debut album is produced by the prestigious Luso-Angolan musician and singer Yami Aloelela. In this album, she showcases how her art, born on Santa Maria Island, embraces numerous other styles: pop/rock, jazz, MPB, African music, tango, etc.

As a composer and lyricist, Isabel Mesquita gives voice to Azorean poetry by authors like Natália Correia, Paulo Ramalho, Daniel Gonçalves, and Florbela Espanca. "Ilhéu" introduces a refreshing approach to Portuguese music—born of study, research, love, assertion, crossroads, and creation. Sometimes it's simpler than we think. Come without expectations, with an open heart to receive.
